    Kind, thoughtful, and realistic
There’s a lot of snake oil in the world of language learning, but Kerstin is the real deal. Her commentary is always thoughtful and highlights the sustained effort that is characteristic of true language learning, and she brings on excellent guests and uses her subject matter expertise to conduct some of the strongest podcast interviews in the game. I was listening to the fluent show before as a way to learn more about learning, but ended up getting inspired to dive in with Kerstin‘s German Uncovered course about 10 months ago, and now with her course and tips I’m starting a B2 german course, planning a move to Germany, and dreaming of the day I can join one of her language retreats. And, of course, I’m wondering which endangered language, and which East Asian language - oh, and french and Spanish - I want to tackle once I’ve gotten to advanced levels in German. So even if you’re just interested in language learning, give it a shot. But if you’re in the trenches and need to be inspired, then definitely sign up for the fluent show!

    Very Enjoyable Podcast
I followed Kerstin from the German Uncovered course she developed with Olly Richards. Her excitement and enthusiasm grabbed my attention; it continues with this podcast. I recommend giving it a try. Paul - E1L

Waste of time, full of advertisements
These podcasts are great quality but sadly the podcaster does not structure her podcasts well at all. It takes her nearly 10 minutes to get to the topic on some of her episodes. She spends these first 10 minutes of her episodes by advertising herself and her sponsors. During her podcasts there is also a lot of fluff and not enough good information. I will be finding a new podcaster.

    Best Language Podcast EVER!
Kerstin has a way of making the listener feel like they are there in person and part of a lovely afternoon tea and chat. Being a language learner can be very lonely, but being able to listen to these podcasts each week really helps ease that and makes me feel like I belong to an awesome community. Not to mention all the amazing people she has introduced me to through this podcast...and now following those people on social media has enriched my life even more! Thank you so much Kerstin (and Lindsay too!).

    So interesting and inspirational!
I found this podcast after researching "how to learn multiple languages at the same time" and I am so glad I found it. I have implemented so many tips and tools into my language learning after hearing about them on an episode. But even more listening to it inspires me to keep working on my languages and that's been the most important part.

Best podcast to support your language learning!
I absolutely love The Fluent Show. Each topic is engaging and full of the best info that I didn’t even know I needed. I’ve fallen back in love with what was soon to be an ex-language and even picked up a new one! The Fluent Show is perfect for filling my language obsession needs during downtime like driving or cleaning, yet I still feel productive and inspired. Love, love, love and recommend to every language lover I know!

Interesting for both language learners and language teachers
Kerstin and her part-time co host Lindsay do an amazing job of covering many different topics related to language learning. Their discussions range from philosophical (what are the ethics involved in practicing your target language while abroad) to completely practical (how can you re-start learning a language you’ve already tried and failed to learn?). There are lots of language learning podcasts out there, but this one is unique in its depth and thoughtfulness toward the listener. I highly recommend you listen!

Awesome motivation for language learning nerds
I'm a long time reader of both Kerstin and Lindsay's blog, but new to podcasts. If you are looking for a podcast about learning languages or need a little motivation to get back on the learning wagon, pick this one! The shows are loaded with helpful tips, and lots of insight to help you figure out the how, why, and what for your language learning journey. Their infectious energy and off topic conversations add a little something extra that keeps the listener entertained and engaged. If you are a language learning nerd, I highly recommend this podcast even if you are only someone that dabbles here and there.

    Simply the BEST
If you don’t already have a foreign language you enjoy learning, you will want to find one fast after listening to just an episode or two. There are a lot of language podcasts available, but this one soars above the rest. Kerstin Cable is practical, encouraging, enthusiastic, and funny. Delightful to hear a show great for any level as well. Fantastic job!

Love the fact that it's hosted by two experts
It's great hearing a podcast that is hostted by two experts. I appreciate Kerstin's perspective on things. I feel that she reminds us that there are great low tech options that still work really well, like simple vocab notebooks. Her and Lindsay's emphasis on goals and having a plan. The interviews they do are also really interesting. Oh, and the tools round-up episodes they do every few months are a fantastic way to learn about what's out there. Thanks for the wonderful podcast. Please keep it up!

    It's good
Upbeat and interested. Keep up the good work ladies. One suggestion, a little less plugging your own language learning programs or products.

    Great tips and very encouraging!
I really like the practical tips and the personable demeanor of the show hosts. I also enjoyed the thought provoking subjects discussed between the hosts and guest speakers. I actually have a rather unique language learning challenge because the target language is now fluently spoken by only about two dozen elderly people and there isn't much in the way of learning aids. My colleagues and I are creating those needed materials from scratch. So in light of our "endangered language " project, I really found this podcast to be useful food for thought that we can apply in our reclamation work. Thanks for doing this podcast !

    Excellent podcast
I've been listening to the creative language podcast for over a year now. I really enjoy it. It has a lot of valuable content in regards to language learning and what information is readily available to people in a variety of different podcasts, Language resources. Lindsey and Kiersten give nuts and bolts pros and con tips about how it really is to learn a language. I also enjoy the fact that two strong women are doing a live podcast every week. You don't see that here in the podcast world as much. It's mostly male dominated. We need more females out there doing with Lindsey and Kiersten do on a weekly basis. While juggling the day-to-day life tasks that most people have to deal with family job other interests. It gets me inspire each week to find out what new topic they are going to introduce on our podcast. It even makes me want to venture out Angela podcasting universe as well. Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback and positive influence that you both share on a weekly basis. Sincerely, Chenelle Acker and I am. USA.

    Great Show!
I just started listening to this podcast a week ago from today and I really enjoy it. I listen to this on my walk to classes and my drive to and from school and work. I am a language major, and am taking the tips and tools provided to better my studies. I just received an email from the fluentlanguage.co.uk email subscription and am so sad to hear that the show is slowing down and taking a break. nevertheless these podcasts are great and offer a lot of information for langauge lerning and learning in general.

    Great podcast
I'm a guy living in Florida. I discovered the podcast about a week ago and I've already listened to about 10 episodes... In two days... I don't know if you have done this in older episodes, but here are some ideas I have for future ones, (and in the spirit of the ideas, I'll also write in Spanish :) 1. 2. Can you talk about funny and/or embarrassing experiences you've had when learning a new language? 3. What are the things (grammatical structures, specific words, accents, intonations etc) that have surprised you, or that you've liked the most in other languages? Keep up the good work!
