    Time Machine
This Pod is the closest thing to a time machine. Flashing you back to places you’ve been and destinations unknown. Pure magic!

    Awesome show!
Great podcast! Awesome show selection, love the banter between you guys n’ I really loved the “1st time” bonus episode. I was also @ the 5/5, 5/6/90 shows; met Bill Graham, what a weekend! Keep up the great work!

    Glad I found this one
Has me looking forward to the first of the month. Only issue is that they don’t have all the previous shows available.

    My favorite Grateful Dead podcast
For years I listened to Barry Smolin's Music Never Stops on KPFK in LA. However he started to play too many other jam bands and only once in a while the Dead. DSotM gives you a complete Grateful Dead show every month. The hosts went to many of their concerts and have unique insights into the shows. The recordings are usually great quality and they insert interesting half-time acts like JGB, Bob Dylan, Mark Knopfler, Santana and many more.

    Awesome
Thanks for the amazing music! My younger brother got me started on The Dead back in 1993. I made it to 2 concerts and wish I could have went to more. Thanks to you guys, I get to travel the world and span the decades! Please keep them coming!

Thank You for Sharing the Music of McCoy Tyner.
Just want to send a quick note thanking you for sharing McCoy Tyner’s music in the half-time segment of DSOTM #40 (Flashback). And thank you for all your work. It’s much appreciated.

    Solid show selection, minimal banter
These guys do a great job picking high quality recordings of shows throughout the Dead’s era. The pre and mid show banter is not super lengthy and generally adds context to the show. I like that they do stuff from the late years, and not just the “golden era” ca. 72-77. Having a full show download is phenomenal. My only criticism is that the mid set show selection is sometimes questionable...linda ronstedt and James Taylor?....Come on, boys. More JGB, please. Would love a mid-month full Jerry show! Love it guys. Thank you.

    Love BUT
Love this podcast BUT I wish there was more episodes available. 20/159 episodes is kinda lame in my opinion. Other than that keep up the great work, Thank You!

    Crowd-tested, Dave-Approved
I love listening to DSOTM. Dave is an amazing host - he always picks a great show to feature for the month, most of which are new to me! The co-hosts and interviewees that are on the show are consistently entertaining and many offer personal stories from their experiences at Dead shows. The halftime show is usually very good, and has introduced me to some new bands that I now love. From one Dave to another - thanks for all the great work Dave, and keep it up!

    Fantastic!
Love love LOVE this cast! Buddy turned me on to it and we love discussing each months show. The dead ALWAYS bring people together! : ) Also really love the intermission choices. One suggestion Dave, it would be great if you gave the band lineup for each show in your introduction. Some of us old hippies can never keep it straight! Peace

Something's wrong with this month's podcast!
Says it's fully downloaded, but it's only the first 13 seconds. I want this '73 show!! Anyone else having this prob?
  • Sawx phan
    Bam! Thanks it's primo
Latest was awesome (they all are)! I heart '85. Surprisingly I'd never heard this. I smiled big time whilst listening. Can't beat '85 song selection, can't beat this podcast. It's a must listen. I love the classic live filler, also. Lease, keep it up.

The Slam Dunk Grateful Dead Podcast!
Dave, I cannot thank you enough for sharing the goods...Most of us have heard some of these beautiful shows...The sound quality here is just outstanding! Thank you so very much!
  • ukola
    Wow, good.
This is an awesome podcast. Dave puts up some truely amazing shows. The cream of the crop. The most recent one from 69 might be the best live musical performance I've ever heard in my life. It was so good I was sad when it ended. I wanted to send an e-mail to thank him for posting it, but I couldn't figure out how to do that so I'm doing this instead.

    Solid Enjoyable Podcast.
    I look forward to this great podcast, and listen every month: All great choices of shows, generally soundboards of those gems that were passed up by Dick's Picks (Now Dave's Picks!). We all really appreciate what you're doing here Dave! Thanks a Gazillion! (~);}

    Golden sound
If I can't listen to this once a month I'm doing it wrong. Sound podcast. Small wheel turns by the fire and lead, Big wheel turns by the grateful dead.
  • Nyjer,PLEASE!!!
    Quality music for a trip
I miss my 1000 plus hrs of live dead that I had on cassette, but stumbling on this podcast has put a smile on my skull. Nice selections and good quality recordings. Excellent filler, also. In fact, I'm clamoring for a DNB show of the month podcast. Make me proud. Thanks.

    To MOFD
Dave, speaking for all your friends and fans, many thanks for continuing to advance your avocation of disseminating high quality music not readily available to most of us. I especially enjoy that you put the shows in a personal context: in doing so, you help enrichen the experience for us all. Bob
