Enjoyed the Ep 40 Interview with Mike Locke from Silverside
Roy does a fantastic job of making his interviews so listenable and informative. Great guest interaction. I found the Silverside story most fascinating. Mike Locke is such a knowledgeable and lucid guest to speak about today’s music industry.

A must listen for anyone into Sync!
Roy has done a FANTASTIC job curating guests with great insight into a part of the music industry that is often perceived as being an insiders club. Have the accessibility to these conversations makes it seem way less intimidating to break into the sync arena. These are down to earth conversations and in a day and age where everybody is “influencing” it does not feel transactional. Great to put on in the car or wherever you have some down time but also want to keep your eye on the prize.

Essential Listening for Aspiring Sync Producers
I LOVE this show. Roy does a fantastic job getting a variety of professionals who are killing it in the sync industry to sit down, talk shop, and spill so many pointers about getting into writing for sync licensing. On top of that, the conversations are organic, never contrived, and even get into topics outside of music like mental/spiritual health. Like I said, it gets real! In short, this podcast is rad. Subscribe, soak it in, and learn to kill it from folks doing it for real.

THE best pod on sync licensing
My boy ROY is the real deal. I learn at a minimum 10 gems pertaining to sync licensing that I didn’t know before, on every single episode. He asks the right questions to pull the most out of each guest, and their knowledge and inspiration flows from that. Every time I listen, I leave the podcast more inspired. Keep it up my friend, your podcast is 🔥!.

A holistic and much needed alternative to the other music biz, production /sync podcasts!
So many gems from networking, to producing, to find your music voice. Loving Roy’s casual approach to interviewing world class and humble musicians and having them share the music journey in a way that seems attainable and actionable. As well as the more essential side of maintaining good habits and routines for thriving in all aspects of life so that we can bring our best selves to our music. And be of service to our clients and opportunities. Thanks for leading, creating, and sharing your journey so we can find our path! Cheers from Austin!

    Dig!
I really dig how this podcast is geared toward having top composers drop gems while keeping the conversation fairly casual. Solid interviews.

    Lots of GEMS
Loving this podcast so far! Def excited for all the episodes to come. A recurring gem I’ve been hearing on the episodes is to focus on your own sound and your own musical voice and not try to sound like others. This is definitely something I’ve seen to be true on my own journey as well! Thanks for doing this, Roy!
