Carrie laughs WAY TOO MUCH. It’s constant. Great podcast though.

Enjoyable banter (from either side of the border o believe) and a deep love for the show’s creativity. Not afraid to call out the bad episodes and delve just as deeply (except the novel approach to Tesos). Enjoyable on a long drive. If you are looking for an X files podcast, ensure this is happening in your feed.

Mike and Andrew talk about it with such careful analysis. You can tell the show is really important to them. I like the humorous back and forth between them when they differ on viewpoints. This is a great listen-along for anyone new to the show too!

Great takes on The X-Files, the BEST television show ever made! Each host knows this show like the back of their hands and it shows. Every time new episodes drop I can’t wait to listen and hear what they liked or didn’t like, certain moments or quoted that stood out to them, and of course, who shipped what. If you grew up on this show and still, 30 years later, LOVE to listen to people talk about this is definitive pod for you! Can’t wait to listen to each and every one of the reviews you can crank out and am excited to hear the movie episodes! EXCELLENT WORK!

Give them a couple episodes to get going if you start at the beginning, but they have fully hit their stride now. I love that they are picking up where the LSG X-Files Files left off, but also starting from S1E1. I hope they stick it out through the entire series!

This group of friends are clear fans of the series. They have a budding chemistry and their rhetoric is charming and well informed. Putting a podcast together is not easy. It is a time consuming slog, and they get my respect just for doing it, and to tackle a beloved program that has a hardcore following, is no small undertaking. Trust no one…unless that no one is me telling you to check out this show, then you definitely should! If you’re looking for a show that dives deep into the series, pulls apart and examines the episodes, and has hosts with great chemistry, look no further. This show is a real gem and you can tell how much love and care the showrunners have put into it. Definitely check this one out.

I was listening to the prior show that preceded this “spin off” and was bummed to find that they stopped after four seasons but a small group of hardcore X Files fans decided to stick together and pick up where we last left off and also simultaneously start from the pilot episode. The podcast gets straight to the heart of the matter in detailing what happened in the particular episode as well as their personal opinions on character development and overall show development from earlier episodes. Definitely good recaps as well as some sound clips from the episodes. Very knowledgeable about the show. It’s a no muss no fuss listening experience :)

Love this podcast. Hosts know what they’re doing, talk about facts about each episode not just their opinion, which is great and hard to find in podcasts these days. It’s great to hear people talk about X Files with such enthusiasm after all these years. Thank you!

This is Not Happening is a great podcast for both long time and newer/casual X-Files fans. Each host provides their own unique opinions and observations with a good amount of humor. The sound quality and run times are good and I really like the two episodes from different seasons release format.

Except that I learned that there are other people out there who are still so obsessed with this amazing show that they choose to spend their time creating this amazing podcast for the rest of us. Listening to their commentary through the 2022 lens is fabulous.
