I really enjoy listening to this podcast. It is full of relevant, meaningful, and helpful information. I often go back and listen to previous episodes a 2nd and 3rd time.

This podcast is aimed at breeders, but you do not have to be a breeder to enjoy. It’s a story of someone building something from the ground up, starring her successes and failures in hopes of helping others build their program. Any animal professional can benefit from Julie’s experiences and if you’re only used to hearing about how “bad” breeders are, Julie will certainly change your mind. The length of each episode is perfect, I have never been a fan of episodes that take more than one commute to listen to. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been listening to Julie’s podcast for over 2 years now. I have found some weeks the subject matter doesn’t pertain to my situation. But then several months later, I need to go back and listen to that episode! I have found myself starting over from episode #1 a few times and listening to all the episodes again.

Julie Swan is amazing. Down to earth, respectful, reasonable, informative, all of it! I have been able to grow as a breeder and business owner far beyond what I imagined with her insight and this podcast. I recommend it to every breeder/dog owner I talk to. It’s knowledge for all! I love this podcast. It’s hard to find information that makes sense when it comes to breeding dogs. This isn’t just about the care, facilities and the mechanics that go into it, which obviously is very important and she doesn’t leave that out! but Julie focuses a lot on the buyer. I love that .. to me, After health and happiness of my dogs and pups, the buyer is the most important part of all this. Finding the right buyers for your breeds traits and the individual puppy’s personality. Thank you!!!

I listen to the podcast while at work, and it’s been very informative and helpful towards my kennel. Awesome tips on how to be a better business and dog kennel owner, especially with thinking outside the box with marketing my pups . Looking forward to future episodes .
