EemmeellsFantastic Podcast! Fantastic Gallery! Fantastic Kim!!!Since I started listening to this podcast I have visited the National Portrait Gallery every time I’ve been in DC - NPG is my new favorite spot in DC! Kim Sajet is brilliant - as a former museum director I really appreciate and admire what she has accomplished. Her experience, background, added with her natural creativity and collaborative spirit are an example of what can be achieved. Kim has demonstrated how the public can be engaged in art, history, culture and learning about our amazing shared country. The NPG like this podcast are ‘educational’ but they both are fun, engaging and not at all stuffy… hopefully dispelling the assumption that history and art and mostly museums are boring and dry. I look forward to each new episode and maybe I’m wearing my rose colored glasses… I’m looking forward to the next one.

LoganDylanI love this podcast!Unfortunately, thanks to that man who calls himself president, there won’t be anymore podcasts from Ms. Sajet. It was fine while it lasted.

Rp1049More than a face picThis podcast is a fun and insightful way to explore portraits, artists and the world that inspires them. Kim provides cheerful and inquisitive narration with expert commentary. It’s amazing to get to go behind the faces of some of the most iconic portraits, and into the heads of the artists that made them. Cheers!

BleuSkies24Portraits are important!Whether painted, sculpted, illustrated, sketched or photographed, portraits not only reveal what a person looks like … they also capture the essence of a person, what they stand for. Portraits have the power to influence perception of individuals and groups of people. This podcast is an easy, insightful, enlightening, educational and entertaining listen. It is brief and gets to the point. The hostess is pleasant and guides the interview well. Looking forward to more shows about portraits!

Since we can’t visit the Gallery right now, (pandemic times) I am so happy to be able to hear about all of the amazing portraits that are patiently waiting for us to heal so we can return and witness their beauty and uniqueness in real life.
